Recognizable Characters:

The main characters in Enchanted are recognizable actors and actresses, which adds to the enjoyment of the film. Amy Adams is delightful as Giselle as she plays a naive princess-to-be lost in the big city of New York. Patrick Dempsey does an outstanding job at playing an uptight lawyer who is not open to enjoying life. The supporting actors James Mardsen and Susan Sarandon add to the cast. Since this film contains recognizable actors and actresses, it is not only appealing to children, but it is something adults can enjoy as well.

Cheerful Soundtrack:

The songs in the film are so joyful and memorable, viewers will find themselves singing them weeks later. Amy Adams, as Giselle, sings three songs for the film --“True Love’s Kiss”, “Happy Working Song”, and “That’s How You Know” all indicate her spunky personality. Jon McLaughlin contributes a slow song entitled “So Close” to the King and Queen’s Costume Ball that will melt the hearts of audiences. Perhaps the best song in the film is “Ever Ever After” by Carrie Underwood played at the end of the film, which sums up the flick in a single song. The soundtrack is reason enough to see the movie!

Captivating Costumes:

Fantasy and reality are blended in this movie through the use of costumes. Giselle, Prince Edward, and Queen Narissa wear magical costumes that set them apart from the real world. However, the colors of the costumes all complement one another generating a cohesive look. The genius details in the costumes of the characters from Andalasia will captivate viewers.
